| Links Sunday School (Sunday 9:30 AM)Our Sunday Christian educational classes strive to be more than traditional Sunday School, for through them we seek to reinforce the teachings of God through Pastor Cason in innovative and creative ways. The classes are designed to foster a sense of fellowship and learning by helping meet the spiritual and interpersonal needs of all age groups. Expositional Bible Study (Tuesday 6:30 PM)Our Expositional Bible Study is a ministry that seeks to equip every member for Christian service. It encompasses biblical training as well as leadership training to equip the Saints to live victorious and overcoming lives. First Baptist Church is geared toward in-depth biblical studies for all ages. Our aim is to translate the gospel and enable every believer to make application to their present reality. New Members Class (Tuesday 6:30 PM)Our New Members classes are designed to instruct and encourage new members in three essential beliefs of the Christian faith (Baptism, Lord's Supper, and Stewardship). After completion new members are encouraged to become active participants in all phases of church life and work. Classes are currently held every first and second Tuesday of the month. Discipleship Training (Saturday 3:30 PM)The Discipleship Training is a comprehensive study of the basic biblical principles and standards for following Jesus Christ. It is for everyone who desires to be His disciple. The study, however, is merely a tool for discipleship since knowing the Bible is only part of the process. It is far more important for every believer to live out the principles and laws gained from the Bible. Men's MinistryThe Men's Ministry is dynamic and innovative organization which includes the Men of Integrity and a mentoring program which conducts workshops, engages in community projects, role modeling and addesses issues focusing on today's Christian man. Women's MinistryThe Women's Ministry is an organization which serves as a support group for women which conducts workshops, engages in community projects, role modeling and issues focusing on today's Christian woman. Vacation Bible SchoolVacation Bible School is not a traditional one. It is designed to reach out to children and adults, thus, it is designed to minister to the entire family. The classes are held in the evening from five to seven days in the summer. The classes are divided by grades from pre-school to adults. All of the lessons revolve around a central theme and are creatively taught by gifted teachers. Computer Literacy MinistryThe Computer Literacy Ministry seeks to enhance the ministry of the Church by using the gifts and talents of the members of the congregation who are computer literate. This ministry is also responsible for training those who seek to become computer literate and for updating and maintaining this Web site and producing a quarterly church newsletter. Youth MinistryThe goal of the Youth Department Ministry is threefold. First it seek to develop a Christ-centered life in each of its members. Secondly, it seek to develop student leaders to carry the torch to future generations, and finally, it seek to motivate our youth to a commitment to Christ and minister to others.
